Diane touched all of our lives with her warmth, compassion, delightful humour and ever-loving ways. She was a beautiful exceptional person always willing to help others.
She shone as brightly as a twinkling star and exuded joyfulness from within her pure loving heart.
Diane loved her family and friends and took immense joy in spending time with them.
Diane grew up in a loving family in Fort Garry. After graduating from Vincent Massey, she went to work for a number of newspapers and lastly with Glacier Farm Media, which she really enjoyed especially working with her colleagues.
Diane made close and lifelong friends from school, work and social outings.
Diane had a wonderful, loving childhood and enjoyed going to the family cabin, usually bringing her close friend to join in the fun with swimming, water skiing and boating.
Later in life, Diane met the love of her life, Peter. They enjoyed a very peaceful and loving life together. They loved attending the ballet and symphony and did many activities together.
Diane and Peter enjoyed summer outings to Red Lake, Ontario, Peter’s hometown, Thunder Bay, Kenora, Blindfold Lake and Winnipeg Beach.
Diane was an avid reader, enjoyed puzzles, walking, snowshoeing and keeping a beautiful flower garden. She was devoted to her two cats and loved snuggling up to them.
Diane’s favourite place to be was at Leo Mol Sculpture Gardens, taking in the amazing sculptures, especially the ballerina, then sit under the pergola and gaze at the lily pad pond with family and friends.
Diane was a beautiful, unique and loving person and we shall always cherish the wonderful memories of Diane which will remain in our hearts forever.
A private family interment will take place at a later date.
