With great sadness and gratitude for her life, we announce the passing of Sharon Gruhn surrounded by her family on January 15, 2026 at the age of 85 after a brief illness.
Sharon was predeceased by her son Bert Gruhn; and her parents, Bert and Janet McCreedy. She is survived by her husband Don Gruhn of 62 years; son and daughter-in-law, Derek and Lori Gruhn; and grandchildren, Kaelin, Ryleigh and Brooke.She is also survived by her sisters, Gail McQuaker and family, Jan Sarahs (Dennis) and family (Phoenix, AZ); sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce, Barb, Norm and Ernie; and many extended family and friends.
In accordance with Sharon’s wishes, no formal service will be held and a private family burial will be held at a later date.

I offer my deep condolences to Don and family. I got to know Sharon and Don briefly, during their time living on the Sandy Hook golf course, not long before they moved away. Sharon was just one of those people you liked immediately. She was kind, friendly and had a good sense of humour.
