• My sweet Dad. If only you knew how unbearably hard this past year has been without you. The void you left is unimaginable. Mom misses you with such an intense grief and I know she would give anything to have just 5 more minutes with you. Your marriage was overflowing with a love shared by so few people. The signs that you gift us mean the world to us. I find you in the most beautiful places, but yesterday was the most incredible and beautiful sight you've ever shared (even more than your silly porcupine!). Thank you so much for letting us know you're still with us. 366 days have passed and I wish we could say it got better. But it doesn't. That raw pain is always with us. It just feels different some days, but it never goes away. We hope you're having the best time in Heaven! We have such comfort knowing that we will see you again one day, and although those days are long here on earth, I'm sure they mere seconds in Heaven. Don't have too much fun though! You have a farm to get ready to greet us at when our time comes to be with you again. Until then, always know how loved and appreciated you are, by all of us.
