Marilyn and I first met when we were on the Provincial Executive of the Manitoba Teachers’ Society (MTS). We became good friends as we championed the rights of teachers. Marilyn was the president of the MTS in 1979-80. My daughter shared the same birthday as Marilyn. Rest in Peace my very dear friend.
