My deepest sympathies to Dwayne's spouse and family and his mother, Ramona. My time wih Dwayne was more than 50 years ago, with Dwayne then just a teen-ager and I in my early 20's starting into Law school at UM. We worked together for Westfair Foods in one of their corporate Tom-Boy stores and from the beginning of Dwayne's employment, he was unfailingly polite, dedicated, energetic and very methodical in his approach to any task. Although our paths never crossed again after those years, I was struck by the notice of Dwayne's passing, and offer these reminiscences of our time together. I also worked with Ramona, to whom I offer my sincere condolences, since children, even those who are adults, are supposed to deal with their parents' passing, not vice versa. To Ramona and all of you, may God raise Dwayne up on eagles' wings, bear him on the breath of dawn, make him to shine like the sun, and hold him in the palm of His hand. Paul Brett, a co-worker and friend of Dwayne's in those early days. - Posted by: paul brett (Co-worker) on: Mar 07, 2026
