Marion Barbara Gray (nee Hunnie), was born to Alexander and Ruby Hunnie on January 5, 1948, at Grand Marais, Manitoba. A few weeks after her cancer surgery, she passed away at her residence in Winnipeg on January 4, 2026, just a day short of her 78th birthday.
Marion was predeceased by her husband of 13 years, Garry in 2009; her mother Ruby in 2002; her father Alexander in 1981; two brothers, Robert in 1983, and Collin in 2020; three sisters, Geraldine in 2002, Tracy in 2023, and Verna in 2025.
Marion will be remembered and missed by her children, Karen Unger of Steinbach, Keith (Dyane) Mosley of Winnipeg, and Chad Krosch of Star Buck, MN; grandchildren, Jordan (Laura), Riley (Kalynn), Colton, Brenden (Rebecca), Veronica, Jesse, Evan, Sarah (Barrett); and great-grandchildren; step-children; Patricia, Gordon, and Shari; as well as her step-grandchildren; siblings, Bonnie, Bernice, Violet (Cliff), Jeannitt (Ed), Lorraine (Herman), Eric (Karen), Jackie (Willy), Marlene (Bill), and other extended family members and friends.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal funeral service held. A small private gathering will be held in memory of her this summer.
