ANNA ENS
Our mom was born on September 21, 1936, in the Ukraine but was very proud to call herself a Canadian.
Mom dearly loved her only sibling Margaret, with whom she was very close. She was a proud, headstrong, and fearless woman and was generous to a fault. Our mom loved nothing more than to have a good time and a glass of white wine.
She leaves to mourn her sister Margaret, brother-in-law Erwin; her children, Carol (Ernie) and Bernie (Marina) and grandson Connor. She will also be sadly missed by her nephew Rick (Valerie) and their children, Louis and Melissa (Jack); along with many other friends and relatives. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Kornie, in May 2018.
Cremation has already taken place and in accordance with Mom’s wishes, there will be no formal service. As Mom had an appreciation for the performing arts, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a local performing arts group such as the Royal Winnipeg Ballet or the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra.
