Beverley (Bev) passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, love, and music.
Bev is predeceased by her husband Carl Ridd; parents, Bill and Mamie Tozer; and sister Marilynn Garnier. Bev is survived by her children, Laurel (David Taubner), Brian (Dawn), and Karen; grandchildren, Sean, Meagan, Andrew, Mark, Emma, Daniel, and Ben; and great-grandchildren, Blue and Jeremy.
Bev was born in Winnipeg. She graduated from nursing and later completed her BA at the University of Winnipeg. Bev worked as a nurse, as the co-ordinator of the River Heights Family Education Centre, and as program co-ordinator for the United Way.
Bev was co-founder of Project Peacemakers and forty-year volunteer at The Oak Table. She was a member of Augustine United Church and choir. She was an avid Wesmen fan. Bev loved time at the lake, enjoying nature, and swimming. The family is grateful for the care provided at Pembina Place Personal Care Home.
A Celebration will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Augustine United Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to a charity she loved.
