• We first met Ernie in 2007 at Riverview Health Centre where he and his sidekick, Harry Burdon, had been running the Sunday morning volunteers for decades. He and his crew of 6 to 10 volunteers. Wood spread throughout the facility bringing wheelchair bound residence and those with walkers down to the chapel for the service. Ernie was a delight, as he greeted all the residents and their families with care, concern, interest, and humor. Our heartfelt condolences to Ernie‘s family. • So very sorry to hear of Uncle Ernie’s passing. We always called him Uncle because he was so close to our family. He was such a nice and funny man. Always enjoyed when we got together with him, you always knew it would be fun. He will be missed by many.
