William (Bill) Watson passed away on March 16, 2026 in Burnaby, BC.
Born in Winnipeg, MB on February 4, 1950 to Alex and Anna Watson (nee Mantie). Bill had hobbies, one was collecting car brochures, which over the decades grew into his "labour of love" in depth researching, organizing and publishing his life long dream, "Catalog of Canadian Car I.D. Numbers."
He was predeceased by his mom (1992), dad (2009), sister Deborah Brooks (2014), and survived by his brother Alexander (Sandy), and nephews, Rob and Andrew of Winnipeg. He will be missed by those who knew him.
Bill's working life took him from Winnipeg to Alberta, BC, Toronto, where he stayed with our wondrous relatives, auntie Clover, cousins Marjie, Helen, and Diane and all their pets, including Bill's cat Rascal, and back to BC where he retired. He left us peacefully in his sleep in his care home.
Many thanks to the Staff at the George Derby Centre in Burnaby, BC for their care for him, and to Bill's very good friend Keith Hodges who has been so instrumental in helping us with Bill all along the way.
