Marvin passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026.
Services will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chesed Shel Emes, 1023 Main St., Winnipeg. Interment at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery to follow. Meal of Consolation at Shaarey Zedek Synagogue at 1:00 p.m.

My husband Lorne & I were friends with Marvin for over forty years. We always looked forward to his Sunday morning phone calls. After Lorne’s death, he very kindly continued to phone me every week…. stimulating conversations were the norm with Marvin. I met Marvin through my parents Lorne & Judy Topolniski. He was a very nice man and I enjoyed our chats when we met up social functions. He always chatted with my mom after the passing of my father. My mother always said it’s so lovely that Marvin and I still chat up a storm. He will be missed and I’m grateful for the friendship that he extended to my parents and us kids.
