KENNETH WILLIAM BARKER
Ken was born January 25, 1944 to Harry and Luella Barker.
He is predeceased by his parents, aunts and uncles.
He is survived by cousins and their families.
Ken went to school in Winnipeg, Manitoba and graduated from Glenlawn Collegiate. He obtained his Arts Degree from the University of Manitoba. Ken also obtained his Grade 10 Conservatory of Music. He was very interested in reading, particularly history and geography.
Throughout the years Ken was very kind to his parents, and they took care of each other in St. Vital. Around 2007 the family moved to West Park Manor Personal Care Home. Throughout the years the West Park Manor staff was their family. Life has not been easy, but Ken carried on with such dignity.
We as a family would like to express our appreciation to all the staff throughout the years who have been so kind to Ken and taken such good care of him and previous generations of our family.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
