Frances left us on April 29, 2026, to be with her beloved husband Paul.
Frances was the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Anderson and sister to Bill and Patricia. She grew up in Fort Rouge, Winnipeg and graduated from Kelvin High School where she met lifelong friends, especially her buddy, Betty Pell. The Pells and Herriots had many good times at Big Whiteshell Lake, boating and singing campfire songs.
Frances’ career included jobs at the Winnipeg Grain Exchange, Revenue Canada, and the University of Manitoba.
Frances leaves her five children, Paula (Michael, deceased), Eileen (Hugh), Susan (Henry), Matthew, and Alex "AJ" (Chantal) as well as 11 grandchildren, Daniel, Kelly, Tina, Teresa, Amy, Lucas, David, Rory, Julia, Jack, and Kathleen, and 13 great-grandchildren with many lovely memories of their remarkable mom, grandmother and great-grandmother.
A funeral service will be held at St. Timothy Parish, May 21, 2026, 11:00 a.m., 135 John Forsyth Rd., Winnipeg, reception to follow.
