Marta was born on December 4, 1951, in Monte San Giacomo, Salerno, Italy to parents Antonio and Antonia Aluotto. At the age of 19, she courageously emigrated to Canada to begin her life with her beloved husband, Michele, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. A gifted and meticulous seamstress, Marta spent the majority of her career at Gino’s Custom Tailor where her talent and warm spirit were well known to many in the community. Marta will be remembered for her skilled hands, her resilient spirit, and the profound love she shared with those closest to her. She leaves behind a legacy of family, tradition, and hard work that will never be forgotten.
