TREVA GORRIE
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our wonderful mother, on November 2, 2025 at the age of 106 in Neepawa.
She lived her whole life in Manitoba, first on a farm in Nesbitt and later after marriage in Brandon. Her husband Elwood predeceased her in 2002, her daughter Linda in 2015 and a newborn baby David at birth in 1962. She is survived by her son Charles (Chuck).
Mother was the ultimate cook. Central United Church played an important role in her life. She supported her husband Elwood in all his work and as Mayor of Brandon.
She will be deeply missed by Chuck and Jocelyn; grandsons, Andrew and Kent (Debbie); great-grandchildren, Jack, Noelle and Lily.
A reception to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Riverheights Terrace, located at 4525 Victoria Avenue in Brandon.
