Agnes Rasmussen (nee Poetker), of Steinbach, MB, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at the Morris General Hospital, Morris, MB.
Born December 24, 1935, in Steinbach, MB to Henry and Agatha. Agnes spent her life nurturing her family and community.
Agnes was known for her generous heart. She found great satisfaction in volunteering and helping others. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Agnes was predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd.
She is survived by her devoted sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
The celebration of Agnes’s life will be held at a later date. Details to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Mennonite Central Committee, an organization close to Agnes's heart.
