Frederick (Fred) James Manness, born on February 18, 1936 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026 at Fred Douglas Lodge.
Fred was predeceased by his parents, Betty and Edward Manness, as well as his sister Lillian and brother Arnold.
He leaves behind his loving wife Carol, with whom he shared many wonderful years. Fred will be deeply missed by his children, Darlene, Wayne, and Stuart (Rhonda); his brothers, Dale and Don (Manda); and his grandchildren, Dustin James, Chris James, David Kenny, and Devan Gudmundson.
A final viewing and graveside service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue on Friday, May 29, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
