It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, Bobbie Tucker on June 13, 2026 at the age of 76.
She is survived by her son Cameron (Rebecca) and daughter Caitlin (Chris). She is also survived by her sisters, Donna (Chris), Lori (Phil), sister-in-law, Dianne, five grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bobbie was predeceased by her husband, Gary and parents, Irene and Robert Lindsay.
Bobbie was born February 7, 1950 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She attended school at Cecil Rhodes School, Daniel McIntyre Collegiate, the Universities of Winnipeg and Manitoba. She received a Master of Education degree in Educational Administration.
Bobbie worked as a Guidance Counsellor at Windsor Park Collegiate and as a school administrator of various schools in the Louis Riel School Division.
Bobbie and Gary married in 1973 and raised their family on an acreage near Oakbank, Manitoba. Bobbie enjoyed spending time with her kids, and later her grandchildren. She was always a warm welcoming presence, and visiting grandma’s house was a joy for her grandchildren.
Bobbie loved her Irish and Gordon Setters, bred and shown under the Oakisle prefix. Bobbie and Gary spent many summers working and building their cottage on Sandy Lake. Bobbie enjoyed making leather show leashes with handmade glass beads. After retirement, Gary and Bobbie enjoyed travelling as snowbirds to Florida, Texas and Arizona.
Thank you to the staff at Selkirk Regional Health Centre for Bobbie’s care.
