With sadness we announce the passing of John Albert Browning on March 11, 2026.
Born March 23, 1932. Predeceased by his parents Reginald and Katherine Browning; stepbrother Eric Day; and loving wife Sharon.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Irene Deck (Al) and Lynda Browning. His children Kim Hardisty, Scott Browning (Zenaida), Lorelee Hamilton (Scott), and Darren Lines (Allison). Grandchildren Wesley (Patricia), Carsen, Jarret (Stephanie), Brian, Mitchell, Mnessa (Matthew), Madison, Mackenzie, and Riley. Great-grandchildren Azayah, Elijah, Deagan, and Asher. Nieces, nephews, and cousins in the United Kingdom and Canada.
Cremation has occurred. A Celebration of Life for both John and Sharon will be held Monday, July 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue, Winnipeg. Refreshments to follow interment.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
The family extends sincere thanks to the caring staff at Extendicare Oakview Place for their compassion and care.
