It is with great sadness we announce that our beloved father, papa, and great-papa, Eugene Burtnyk, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, at the Grace Hospital.
A private family Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to the Grace Hospital Foundation (300 Booth Drive, Unit M001, Winnipeg, MB, R3J 3M7) or the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba (120 Donald Street, #10, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2) in memory of Eugene.

My sincere condolences to Kerry, Kim and your families. I will always remember your dad as a very kind man who was always so friendly to me and who, along with your mom, always made me feel welcome in their home. There were many fun evenings spent in the family home rec room as well as down the street at the AMCC. May he rest in peace and may you be comforted with all the wonderful memories.
