SHARON FEUER
Sharon Feuer (Carlson) passed on July 8 at the age of 86. Pall bearers were Cheryl Feuer, Marilyn Eckstein, Jeremy Feuer, Dana and Penny Feuer, and Ari Feuer.
Born in Northwestern Ontario, Sharon began life as a mischievous wartime tomboy. By school age her family had moved to Winnipeg, where she resided for the rest of her life. Changing schools frequently, she transformed into a charming, confident young woman who learned to make good friends quickly.
After graduating from Glenlawn Collegiate and working for a few years, she married Arnold Feuer in 1964. She supported their young family while Arnold finished his education and together they created a wonderful life for their family.
Sharon was a bon vivant and a lifelong artist. Sociable, outgoing and caring, she was genuinely interested in everyone she met. She enjoyed entertaining, dancing, and bridge games into the wee hours, and was a voracious reader and an extraordinary baker.
She was fiercely dedicated to those she cared about, and always there for everyone she loved in both good times and bad. Sharon treasured her time with her grandchildren.
Sharon is survived by brothers-in-law Charles and Morris, children Dean (Bunny), Paul and Janice, grandchildren Ari, Noah, Gabrielle, Olivia and Julia and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Though we are deeply saddened, we feel joy for all that she was and all that she gave us.
