• I first met Tom when we both started training together as passenger agents in April of 1973. Tom was very helpful to me, as he picked me up every morning & drove me downtown for training classes. So sad to hear that Tom scummed to one of the most unforgiving cancers. May the good Lord hold you in his arms & give you comfort. • Tom was an outstanding trade unionist, his activism made a difference for many of his co-workers and the broader labour community. I first met Tom in the late 1980's, he was part of a group of dedicated CAW activists, who could always be counted on to support other union's in their time of need.
