Roy Gordon Millar passed away after a long history of medical problems at the age of 94 years, at the calvary personal care home, on Wednesday July 8, 2026.
He lost his wife Helen on April 21, 2023. He was predeceased by his parents Ann, and Andrew Millar, brothers Richard and Wilfred, and sisters Margaret, Rena and Eva.
He leaves behind to morn his sister Emily and his brother Paul. He also leaves behind his sisters-in- law Rita and Monica.
His funeral will be held at a later date at the Aiden’s catholic church.
Rest in peace.

ROY GORDON MILLAR
At 94 years with Family at his side, Roy passed away in the wee hours of July 8, 2026, at Calvary Place (PCH).
Roy was one of eight children of Andrew and Anne Millar (Roy, Wilfred, Paul, Richard, Eva, Emily, Renna and Margaret).
Roy leaves behind to mourn his stepson, Bob (Joy), grandchildren, Heath (Brigitte), Alea (Ben); great-grandchildren (Ethan, Aurora, Andi, Nora, Brooks), brother Paul, sister Emily, sisters-in-law Rita and Monika and nephews and nieces.
Roy was predeceased by Helen (nee Falk), his wife of 48 years and stepson Dennis.
Roy was born in Dauphin, MB and the family lived in Fork River, MB. When Bob asked if there was a river in town, Roy said he swam in it, Bob replied “I didn’t know you could swim” Roy smiled and said, “dog paddle”.
Dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, rest in peace.
An outdoor Family memorial service will be on Saturday July 25 at 3:00 p.m.

An off-site family reception to follow.
