LARRY CZARNECKI
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Wayne Czarnecki, born July 14, 1944, in Dauphin, Manitoba, to Lena and Michael Czarnecki.
Larry enjoyed a long career with the Provincial Assessment Branch and later Manitoba Hydro. Known for his generosity, Larry was always willing to help anyone in need. He loved telling jokes and sharing stories. Family and friends affectionately called him “Larry of all trades” because he had a fix for everything.
Larry loved curling, fishing, hunting, cars, and the Winnipeg Jets. He especially loved spending time with his granddaughter, who always brought a smile to his face.
Larry was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Rudy and Ron. He is lovingly remembered by Valery Czarnecki; his daughters, Avery Vaught (Brandon Miraflor) and Angela Czarnecki (Andrew Gallinger); his granddaughter, Devin; and extended family and friends.
Above all, Larry will be remembered for his generosity, his willingness to help others, and the love and pride he had for his girls.
Service details are available on the Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel website.

Larry was truly a very special person. He was devoted to his mother and his family. Larry’s mother helped my mother to adjust to assisted living and was a close friend to my mother until she died. Larry helped me with house repairs and no job was too big for him. He was one of the kindest men I have ever known. Rest in peace, Larry. Thank you, my friend. - Posted by: Merrily Marchessault (Friend) on: Jul 25, 2026
