It is with a heavy and hopeful heart that we announce the passing of Laura Christine Keuler on July 10, 2026 at the age of 52. She was able to be in her favourite place (Gimli) and in the arms of her favourite person (husband Chad Keuler). Anyone the family met during her final months helped moved mountains to help Laura stay where she chose to be and for that they are forever grateful.

Laura will be lovingly remembered and honoured by her devoted husband, Chad Keuler; her children, Morgan Keuler and Lucas Keuler; her mother, Joellyn Moser; her sister, Sharlene Taylor; her parents-in-law, Horst Keuler, and Karen Smith and Bob Neeve; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jerrod Keuler and Lisa Keuler (Karpinen) and daughter Isabella (Izzy); along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family and friends.

Laura is predeceased by her father, Leroy Moser; loving grandparents, Dorothea (grandma Dynamite) and Harold Langston, Clara and James Moser.

Laura was born on November 27, 1973, in Battleford Saskatchewan. She was adopted shortly after by her loving parents, Joey and Leroy Moser and grew up on a farm just outside of Kronau Saskatchewan. Laura had a love for animals and nature that rivaled any ever seen. Her life was lived with compassion for anyone she touched.

She has been a forever advocate for animals, women, children and any person that has not been granted a fair set of circumstance in life. Having metastatic breast cancer over the last four years didn’t slow her down, it sped her up and reinforced a “Yes” to life that was contagious. Her family said yes to everything and “No” to the things that did not bring joy. She reinforced the importance of a moment with the people you love and that compassion is the greatest gift of all. Up until these last months, she was still being introduced to people shaken by a metastatic diagnosis and brought them hope, comfort and an understanding ear.

She had a heart and drive that was outsized by her small stature. She was the life of the party and the most organized person. She made every celebration meaningful, personal and special down to the smallest detail most would not notice.

There will be a celebration of her life on August 11th at 10:00am at The Leaf in Assiniboine Park. Anyone and everyone is welcome as she touched so many lives. For those traveling a long distance there will be a live stream as well.

Attire: Laura’s favourite colour was “cream”, regardless if you are at the celebration in person or live stream, dress light, summery and like you’re ready for a nice dinner at an exotic resort. Laura enjoyed every moment, dress to enjoy this one.
