Gertrude passed away July 20, 2026, at the Selkirk Betel Home. She was a very spry and independent woman who still lived on her own independently six months prior to her passing.
She will be remembered by her children, Naomie, Brent and Stacey Oig; grandchildren, Andrew, Liam, Rembrant, Atticus, Joshua, Daniel and Laura; great-grandchildren, Kaeden, Olivia, Chase and Amaya; sisters, Iris, Gladys and Vivian.
She was predeceased by her first husband Bert Oig; second husband Archie Chambers; her daughter Selena and granddaughter Angela Cromarty.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no funeral service.
