JACK KAVITCH
The family announces with great sadness the passing of Jack Kavitch on July 9, 2026 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 83, after a courageous battle following emergency surgery.
He is survived by his wife Delores; sons, Kevin and Sean (Shannon); brothers, Danny (Priscilla) and Randy; grandchildren; and extended family.
Jack will be fondly remembered by his family, friends and former co-workers at CN Rail and Winnipeg Transit.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 6, at 1:00 pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers donations in Jack's memory may be made to Make-A-Wish Canada.
