ARNOLD KEITH (ARNIE) JEPSEN

Arnie Jepsen passed away at the age of 90, leaving behind a lifetime of devotion to his family.

Born on July 21, 1935, Arnie grew up in Ocean Falls, British Columbia. At 17, Arnie joined the Armed Forces and trained as an electronics technician. During his military career, he supported search and rescue operations and served for many years at CFB Comox in British Columbia and CFB Winnipeg in Manitoba.

A gifted and lifelong athlete, Arnie excelled at many sports. At the age of 12, he was B.C.’s freestyle swimming champion. His love of sport remained with him throughout his life, and he continued playing slow-pitch into his 90s.

Above all, Arnie loved his family. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren participate in their activities and every holiday was a trip to spend time with loved ones. His family will remember his dependability, support, and the way he showed his love through his actions.

Arnie is survived by his wife of 67 years Evelyn; his daughter, Brooke; his sons, Larry and Lee; their spouses Danny, Patty and Chris; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers Evelyn would appreciate a card with a memory about Arnie.
