It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sandy, who peacefully left us on July 25, 2026, at the age of 63.
Sandy was predeceased by her soulmate and the love of her life, Garry. They are now together again.
Sandy had a special love for animals and found great comfort and companionship in them throughout her life. She leaves behind her two beloved cats, Margo and Milo.
In keeping with Sandy's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Sandy's sister-in-law, Norma, for her unwavering love and support throughout Sandy's illness. The family is also deeply grateful to Dr. Harris, Dr. Salter, Dr. Goldenberg, and the staff at CancerCare Manitoba for their compassionate care and kindness.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sandy's memory can be made to a local animal shelter.
