CHARLENE GAIL DAVIES

February 24, 1961 – July 27, 2026

Charlene passed away peacefully at home. Strong-willed and courageous, she maintained her uplifting smile throughout her illness.

Char was equally at home in many settings and always entirely herself, whether enjoying the outdoors or dressing up for the occasion. Her creativity, curiosity, and love of a challenge were reflected in the many things she enjoyed, including quilting, shelling, puzzles, travel, pickleball, Rummikub, and cribbage. Travel was a lifelong passion, both during her career with Air Canada and throughout her retirement. Above all, Char treasured her family and the close friendships she shared in Canada and the United States. Char will be deeply missed by her family and friends, as well as her beloved dog, Missy.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Southwood Golf & Country Club, 80 Rue des Ruines du Monastère, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Guests are encouraged to wear blue, aquamarine, or any shade of pink—colors Charlene especially loved. The celebration will take place in the main clubhouse.

We encourage you to go to dignitymemorial.com to send a note, share a story or a picture with the family.
