GLEN EDWARD CHUBEY
Glen Edward Chubey of Carlowrie, Manitoba, passed away on Sunday, August 23rd, at 7:30 pm at the age of 50, surrounded by his loving family following a sudden diagnosis of an aggressive pancreatic cancer.
Glen leaves to cherish in his memory his loving wife, Holly and their children, Owen, Lucas and Elena; his parents, Taras and Shirley Chubey; his mother-in-law Jeannette Lomenda; his brothers, Gordon (Nancy) and his sons, Liam and Cohen, and Andrew (Rebecca), and their children, Isaac and Clara; his brothers-in-law, Dean (Brenda), and their children, Ethan, Emily, and Mallory, and Derek (Mel), and his children, Brett and Journey; as well as his Baba, Mary Chubey; numerous aunts and uncles, cousins and unlimited number of friends.
Glen was predeceased by his Didos, Peter Baryliuk in 1991 and Harry Chubey in 1996; his Babcia, Margaret Baryliuk in 2022 and his father-in-law, Rodney Lomenda in 2024.
Funeral Service to be held at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 505 Watt Street, Winnipeg, MB, on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.. Lunch to follow at the Holy Eucharist Parish Centre, 460 Munroe Avenue (across from the church). Interment at the Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery in Rosa, MB.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Glen’s memory to CancerCare Manitoba, or the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Winnipeg or a charity of one's choice.

My heartfelts condolences to the entire family. Taras, I remember you speaking so lovingly about your boys when we were in Education. I can't imagine the pain you're all feeling right now.
