Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN WILLIAM COLLINS Born: October 29, 1925 Died: September 27, 1999 John Collins, age 73, beloved husband of Frances Collins, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, September 27, 1999. Born October 29, 1925 in Fort Frances, Ont. and moved to Winnipeg as a child. He married Frances in May, 1953 and recently they celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary. John worked for Co-op Impliments for over 25 years until his retirement at age 59. Predeceased by his mother Genevieve and father Roy; sister Marge; brothers, Roy, Bob and Ed. He is survived by wife Frances; sons, Patrick, Greg (Marielle) and grandchildren, Kyle and Nicole, as well as many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, R3E 9Z9. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 1 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Avenue. Service will terminate at the Chapel with cremation to follow.
