CARLY ARLENE WATSON OCTOBER 6, 1991 - JANUARY 15, 2000 It is with heavy heart and great pain and sadness, we announce the passing of our dear Carly Arlene Watson on January 15, 2000. Carly was also known as "Angel"; and "Squidgy-muffin". She was with us for too short a time but managed to touch many people and leave an impression. Carly was a huge fan of Mr. Bean and could do an excellent impersonation of him. She loved to laugh and made others laugh as well. Carly was a Grade 3 student at Tyndall Park School. She loved all her teachers and classmates. She was active in her church and loved to sing with the choir. Carly wanted to grow up and become a Nursery School teacher. Carly will live on through organ donation. We would like to express our thanks and appreciation to the emergency, ICU and PECU staff, nurses and doctors at the Childrens Hospital for all their hard work and sensitivity throughout our very diffcult ordeal. Carly leaves to mourn, her parents, Larry and Sandra; two sisters, Amber and Sarah; great-grandparents, Len and Eunice Pommer, great-grandma Pauline Telewiak; grandparents, Felix and Peggy Joseph, grandparents, Bob and Linda Haug, grandma Lucille Watson; uncle Tim Taylor, aunts, family and friends. Services will be held at the St. Barnabas Anglican Church, 730 McPhillips St. on Thursday, January 20 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Valerie Christopherson officiating. An interment service will follow in Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society, 5 Kent Street, Winnipeg, R2L 1X3, to reflect Carly's love of animals. Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Carly has been on my mind all day today. I will always remember her neatness and intelligence. She was very caring and was very nice to everyone. I still remember her accent and how she loved her sister Sarah. They looked identical. She wore orange and her sister would wear green. The class was saddened to her sudden passing. Even though it has been 22 years She will forever be in my heart. - Posted by: Sherr (Classmate) on: May 12, 2022

  • The day Carly passed away has been clear in my mind for so many years and I am only realizing the impact of it now. I noticed an old friend of mine posted a tribute just 25 days ago...Carly is very missed by many to this day. Carly was the sweetest, most gentle soul I ever came across. She was polite and proper in everything she did and always had a smile on her face. Carly and I were in the same Grade 3 class and on the day of her passing, shortly before the lunch bell rang, she asked me if I was staying for lunch; I was not as I went home for lunch. I still remember thinking about her over that lunch hour because it was cold, just thinking how cold a tiny little girl like her would be. When I returned to school after lunch, I was heartbroken to find out something had happened to Carly... she was too sweet and innocent for anything to happen to her. Tyndall Park School did an outstanding job at celebrating Carly. I will never forget the sadness on her parents' face as our choir was singing during the service. Carly, it has been over 19 years. You will always be loved and will never be forgotten <3. - Posted by: Sonia Brar (Friend) on: Apr 26, 2019

  • Dear Carly, Even though we were so young , I still remember that very day that you and I played outside , we played polar bears, and we were having so much fun, it's like a play back in my head of that day, I was there with you, I still remember you clear as day, we were best friends and I'll never forget you my friend. I've always reminisced out childhood times at Tyndall park and the fun times we had. Your always going to be apart of me and never forgotten. I'll always remember you dear friend. Rest easy beautiful angel. - Posted by: Chastity c (Best friend) on: Apr 01, 2019
