CLARA LAVINA TAYLOR (nee YOUNG) On Sunday, May 7, 2000 at the Portage and District General Hospital, Clara Lavina Taylor, beloved wife of Floyd Taylor of Poplar Point, passed away at the age of 69 years. Clara is predeceased by her siblings, Art, Harold, Jack, Dorothy, Margaret, Russell and Clifford. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband Floyd; son Randy and special friend Frankie of Cherhill, AB; daughter Jane and special friend Marcel of Prince George, BC; son Andy and Tracey of Portage; son Bob and Pam of Portage; grandchildren, Mylinda (Sean), Tara, Louise, David, Richard, Sydney, Kaelyn and Lane; three brohers, Lloyd of Flin Flon, MB, Murray of Leroy, SK and Bill of Winnipeg, a well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives. A service to celebrate the life of Clara will be held on Tuesday, May 9 at 1:30 p.m. from McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel. A private interment is to follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Claras memory to Osteoporosis Society of Canada Manitoba Chapter, 870 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB or the Post Polio Network, Manitoba, 825 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1M5, or to the Poplar Point Cemetery Fund, General Delivery, Poplar Point, MB R0H 0Z0. Arrangements are entrusted to McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel.
