THOMAS INGVAR THOMPSON After a long and courageous battle with cancer Thomas, age 67 years, died peacefully in the St. Boniface Hospital with his family at his side. Predeceased by his parents, Pjetur Gisli and Jona Gudrun; brother Cst. Joseph Thor and grandson Thorstein Gregory. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Lorraine; daughter Lucille (Gregg) Sigmar; sons, Brian (Brenda), Randall (Shirley) darling grandchildren, Kristjan, Holly, Soren and Marisa; sister Thorey (Stan) Cherney; brothers, Peter (Jean) Rosevalt and Magnus (Margaret). Tom was employed by the Federal Government in various departments as Chief of Personnel, for almost 40 years, including Public Works, Indian Affairs, National Defence and Parks Canada. At Toms request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Dads life will be held May 30 at 2:00 p.m. in the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 930 Winakwa Rd. (Windsor Park), Winnipeg, R2J 1E7. The family would like to thank everyone involved in Dads care, the doctors, nurses and all the staff at Palliative Care, St. Boniface. A special thanks to all our friends and family who supported us through this difficult time.
