LILY GRACE TALBOT (nee EASTMAN) Peacefully after a lengthy illness on Sunday, June 4, 2000 at the Riverview Health Centre, Lily passed away at the age of 95 years. Throughout all of Lilys life, she had a strong faith in her God and served her Lord faithfully. Lily was predeceased by her husband Herbert in 1976. Left to lovingly remember Lily are her son Dennis and wife Ella; daughters, Garnis Ball and husband Doug and Fern Taylor and husband Cliff; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Celebration of Lilys Life will be held on Wednesday, June 7 at 11:00 a.m., in the Buntain Chapel of the Calvary Temple, 400 Hargrave St., with Pastor Bruce Logan officiating. Interment will follow in the cemetery of Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, Man., R3B 2H8. Our family would like to express our sincere thanks to Dr. Neil Lerner and all the staff at Riverview Health Centre, especially West 2, for the excellent care and compassion they gave mom during her illness.
