PAUL FINNBOGI THORGILSSON On June 21, 2000 at his residence, Paul Thorgilsson, age 73 years of Lundar, MB. Paul was born February 14, 1927 on the family homestead in the Maryhill District, west of Lundar. He farmed all of his adult life in the Maryhill District. Paul loved the outdoors, and being around his cattle. He was a member of the Jehovah Witness Congregation. He leaves to mourn one brother Oskar, and one sister Thelma Sigfusson of Lundar.; a brother-in-law Wally Olson of Winnipeg, MB; two aunts, Emily Benjaminson of Selkirk and Rikka Brandson of St. Andrews, also ten nieces and nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents; one brother Albert; one sister Anna Olson; and a brother-in-law Arthur Sigfusson. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 26 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lundar Community Hall with Mr. Al Johannson officiating. Due to the wet conditions, interment will be in the Lundar Cemetery at a later date. Viewing at the hall prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Allan Arnason, Lawrence Olafson, Valdi Bjornson, Einar Thorgilsson, Leon Brandson and Welland Thorgilsson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
