Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL PETER SZYMANSKI Mr. Paul Szymanski, aged 82 years, of Garson, Man., passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday July 18, 2000. He is survived by his daughters, Angie and her husband Bob Gorda, Bonnie and her husband Mark Kubinec, all of Winnipeg, Man; his grandsons, Peter and Brett; his brothers, Tony of Selkirk, Man., Stanley of Beausejour, Man., Walter and his wife Frances of Winnipeg, Ted of Edmonton, Alta.; his sisters, Emily Patluk of Garson, Jean and her husband Frank Phillips of Wisconsin and Bernice and her husband Steve Lucek of Toronto, Ont.; also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Adele in 1990; his brothers, John and Joe and his sister Frances Tomsovic. During his lifetime, Paul headed construction projects all over North America and developed peat moss processing plants locally (Molson) and in Alaska. During his retirement, working in his yard was a favourite hobby and passersby would often stop to marvel at his animated sculptures and waterworks wonders. He also enjoyed fishing at his favourite pond and received master angler awards for several species. His jovial nature and smiling face will be sadly missed by many. "Dad - Grandpa, we love you and well miss you." Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 22, at 11:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel with Rev. Fr. Owen Steeves presiding. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Kubinec, Bob Gorda, Bob Vernon, Stanley Szymanski, Allan Szymanski and Ron Rosmus. In lieu of flowers, if family and friends so desire, donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, Man., R3B 2H8.
