ANTHONY TABIN Anthony, beloved husband of Olive passed away in the comfort of his home on September 15, 2000. Besides his beloved wife, Olive, he leaves to mourn his children, Merv (Barbara), Marge (Mike), Harvey, Charlie (Dawn), Darcy (Heather), Clay (Cyndy) and Harold (Lynda) his grandchildren Christian, Vanessa (James), Cheryl, Lindsay, Lyndon, Jeff, Olivia, Keegan, Riley, Zak and Kati; his great-grandchildren Elizabeth, Shealen and Emily. He will also be sadly missed by his sisters Florence Tabin and Rose-Marie (Joe) Palchewich and by his sisters-in-law Julie, Helen and Betty. He was predeceased by his mother Mary, father Joseph and brothers Adolph, Louis and John. Tony was born in Rama, Saskatchewan on May 1, 1929 and married Olive in 1950. They lived in Rama until 1954 when they moved to Winnipeg with their two oldest children. The other five were born in Winnipeg. Tony enjoyed spending time with his family and was happy when everyone was together. He was proud of all his children and enjoyed every minute he spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was involved with Cubs and Scouts as chairman. He held various jobs, his latest being with Schniers and Company until his disability in 1984. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. We love you JiJi In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Tonys memory to Cancercare Manitoba, 100 Olivia Street. Prayers and viewing will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19 in the chapel at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, also in the chapel at Glen Eden. Interment in the Serenity Columbarium at Glen Eden.
