STAN JOSEPH SWYSTUN Stan (Stosh) Joseph Swystun, beloved husband of Arlene Swystun of Cochrane lost his courageous battle with cancer, with peace and dignity, on Friday, November 10, 2000 at the age of 51 years. "Dont think of him as gone away... Think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched." Left with much sadness but cherished memories of a loving husband, father and friend are wife and soulmate Arlene; three daughters and sons-in-law, Susanne and Kyle Redfern, Cindy and Danny Padoan, all of Winnipeg, Brenda and Chris McManus and grandson Ryan McManus all of Toronto, ON; brothers-in-law Jim (Grace) Shepherd and Tom (Brenda) Shepherd, nephews, nieces and other relatives, plus many special friends and business associates in Calgary and Winnipeg. Stan met lifes challenges with a tenacious spirit and will be remembered for his indomitable will, honesty, sense of humour and fairness. Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to Stans co-workers at Spot Graphics and Arlenes co-workers at The Calgary Crown Prosecutors office. Their enduring support and assistance has allowed Stan to choose his path and Arlene precious time to travel his journey together. To Irene, Greg, Lesley, Tom, Wayne and Lu you are in our hearts forever. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAYS "Fish Creek Chapel", (14441 Bannister Road S.E.), on Tuesday, November 14 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel (1442 Main St., Winnipeg) on Thursday, November 16 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Fritsche of Beautiful Saviour Lutheran Church officiating.
