JOHN (JACK) GORDON LEE THOMPSON Peacefully at age 52 on Tuesday, January 16, 2001, Jack passed at the side of his beloved companion, Raymond Jerome Impey, at University Hospital in London, Ontario. Jack was predeceased by his father Bill and is survived by his mother Katherine; brothers, Les (Arlene), Richard (Sherrill), Bill (Marlene) and their families. Jack was raised in Winnipeg and attended Wolseley, Isaac Brock and Gordon Bell schools, also Red River Community College. He worked in Winnipeg until his retirement to Garson, MB where he worked actively in the community. Jack was an active member on the Community Centre Board of Directors and enjoyed running the local community bingos and leaves behind many friends. The family wish to express thanks to the staff at Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg and the University Hospital, London, ON for their immeasurable services. A memorial service will be held at Deer Lodge Centre Chapel on Monday, January 22 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn.
