MARY TANASICHUK Peacefully on January 21, 2001, Mary Tanasichuk passed away at Tuxedo Villa at the age of 96 years. She was born on November 28, 1904 in Brokenhead, MB. At the early age of 13, she came to work in Winnipeg where she resided all of her life. Mother was predeceased by her husband John in 1977 and her son-in-law Mervin Gobeil in 1996. She is survived by her daughter Helen Gobeil; her son Ray Tanasichuk (Gladys) her granddaughters, Darlene Gobeil of Calgary, AB and Jane Alderdice (John) her great-grandson Zachary Alderdice; her sister-in-law Mary Yakem of Lac du Bonnet, MB; her many nieces, nephews and special friend Helen Seignuer of Tuxedo Villa. Mother was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Frances, Rose, Bill Mike and Anne and her brother-in-law Bill Tanasichuk. Family was the centre of Moms life and she especially enjoyed her times at the lake. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with interment following at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
