JAMES KIM TATARYN In the early evening of February 8, 2001, James Kim Tataryn passed away in the loving arms of his wife Linda. Jim had valiantly fought colon cancer since October, and his strength, courage and sense of humour was an inspiration to his family and friends. Jim was born in Flin Flon, MB on April 20, 1958. As a child he lived in Snow Lake and during his teen years in Russell, MB. He met his wife Linda in Winnipeg, and shortly afterward, moved to Calgary. In 1991, they celebrated the birth of their daughter Stephanie. Jim was employed at Western Grocers and with his family had recently moved to Carseland, AB. Besides his loving wife and daughter, Jim will be lovingly remembered by his mother Rose Tataryn of Russell; his aunt and uncle, Pauline and Hughie; two brothers, four sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial service Thursday, February 15 at the Wheatland Funeral Chapel, Strathmore, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Carseland Public School Library, Carseland, AB T0J 0M0.
