Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT GIONET May 16, 1952 - February 7, 2001 It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of our gentle and beloved friend and close member of our family. Robert is survived by his loving wife Carol Hunt; his parents, Berthe and Arthur Gionet, and his brothers, Roger and Pierre. A lifelong sportsman and outdoorsman, Robert was never happier than when he was out fishing and camping, an enthusiasm he shared with his constant companion Carol. An accomplished carpenter and builder, Robert brought his expertise to his work at 17 Wing, Construction Engineering Contracts Cell. Roberts many brothers and sisters-in-law, and his mother-in-law Cora Hunt could always count on him for a helping hand, and he was always the first one any of us turned to in times of need. Roberts nieces and nephew will remember him as the kindest and most loving friend, always eager to take them fishing or boating. His co-workers will sorely miss his good natured diligence and his professionalism, his attention to detail and unfailing dedication to the highest standards of workmanship. Roberts many close friends have lost a warm and generous heart, and will miss his open and easy going ways. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, 2335 Silver Ave. @ Whytewold St., Wpg. and will be followed by a brief reception. Roberts family request donations be made to the charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
