CHIENG FOP SY (TONY) July 16, 1940 - May 4, 2001 Tony suddenly passed away on Friday, May 4, 2001 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 60 years. He was employed by Monarch Industries for 17 years as a machinist. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 25 years, Arcelina; his sisters in the Philippines, Pangty and husband Kiko, Mary and husband; Cely, husband and children; Lily, husband and children, Yolly, husband and children; Dede; Susan, husband and children; Manuel, wife and children; Robert, wife and children; Abet, wife and children; also his sister-in-law Juanita and children; Aping, wife Tessie and children Erick Noel (Aking) and children, Elmer and Elizabeth; and sister Ana in Hongkong, and his beloved sister Ate Shioc Ha in the Philippines. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law in the Philippines, Felipe Hechanova, wife Marietta; nephew Nelson, wife Melanie and son Junneil Paul; nieces, Noemi, husband Ricky and children Ruby, Rhea Jane; Nelia and Jun Angeles; Genelyn and Jun Millar, daughters, Crystal Ann and Kay of the USA. His cousin-in-law Aida Cleofas and son Carlo here in Winnipeg; and also his nephews in the Philippines. Felipe Crame, wife and children; and Jun-jun Crame, wife and children. According to his wishes, Tony will be going home to the Philippines. Tony will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. "We will hold a special place for you in our hearts forever and we will miss you" Prayers at 7:30 p.m. and lamay will be held on Thursday, May 10 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight) at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Interment will follow in the Philippines.
