Father You can only have one father Loving, kind and true No other friend in all the world Will be so true to you If all the world deserted us To our father we could turn For those of you who have a father, Treasure him with care For you will never know his value Till you see that he is not there. To hear his voice, To see him smile To sit and talk with him awhile To be together in the same old way Would be our greatest wish today.
