WILLIAM ARTHUR THORKELSON 1923 - 2002 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Bill Thorkelson, of High Bluff, MB, on February 7, 2002 at the age of 77 years. Memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the Omega Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 13, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Dave Heasler officiating. Interment of the cremated remains will follow at a later date. Bill was born on February 28, 1924, son of Anne and Arthur Thorkelson at Portage la Prairie. He was raised on a farm in High Bluff and continued to live there to his last days. Bill is survived by his brother Don Thorkelson; his four sisters, Wyn Rogers, Elizabeth Longstaffe, Emily Thorkelson, May Parker and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews. "Bill we all you, we will never forget your amazing inner strength and your zest for life. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the wonder and fond memories you have left behind with us to cherish forever, during your time with us."
