ANNE ELIZABETH WATLING (nee PETERS) (1908 - 2002) Peacefully, on Saturday, March 02, 2002, Anne Watling, beloved wife of the late Clifford Watling, passed away at the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 93 years. Anne leaves to cherish her memories, her son Terry and wife Marjorie; granddaughter Shannon; grandson Matthew; sisters, Edith Foster and Hazel Rickets, of British Columbia; as well as the many friends she came to know throughout her life. Anne was born and spent her entire life living in Winnipeg. After her education she worked with the T. Eaton Co. for over 40 years. Upon retiring, she and Cliff spent many years travelling to various destinations, her favorite always being Hawaii. After the passing of Cliff, her final years were spent at the Golden Door Geriatric Centre and our thanks go out to all the staff for the loving care she was given there. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 7 at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Annes memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
