BETTY TAYLOR (TOEWS) 1938 - 2002 Betty passed away on June 23, 2002, at the Thompson Hospital, after battling cancer. She is survived by her husband Don; sons, Tony and Warren; daughters, Donna, Lisa, Sheryl, Simone and Margaret. Two sisters, Louise Tataryn and Ethel Warren. Betty was born in Stuartburn to the late Thelma and Peter Toews. She taught school for a year at Hillside Beach and had a short career in the Air Force. Betty lived most of her married life in the north and worked for Inco in Lynn Lake and Thompson. A memorial service was held on June 28 at the Boardman Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place at her request. She will be missed but she is "free".
