DOROTHY M. (RETA) TALBOT (nee SHORTREED) Peacefully on November 23, 2002, Reta M. Talbot at Grace Hospital went to be with her Lord and Saviour. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Winston Tom of 61 years of marriage. A respected teacher, Reta was born at Tantallon, SK. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Minnie Shortreed; and sisters, Kathleen, Olive and Marjorie. Reta attended Elim Chapel and later, Church of The Way. She was a devoted Sunday School teacher and Superintendent at Talbot Mission Sunday School for many years. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway, with Pastor John Botkin officiating. Following a reception, interment will take place in Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Retas memory, if friends so desire, may be made to Living Bible Explorers, 600 Burnell St., Winnipeg, MB or Thru the Bible Radio, London, ON.
